I’ve got two fun-filled appearances happening this weekend! One in person and one online! :) Details below:

Annual Romance and Chocolates Social: Multi-Author Meet and Greet

Isabelle Santiago, Jessica Andersen, Stella Price, Cat Johnson, and Bianca D’Arc will be doing a Romance Author Panel and book signing. Come by and support some of your local authors for a delightful afternoon of books, chocolate, and more!

Please be aware there will be various genres and heat levels available so that there might be something for everyone! Take the time to peruse the bookstore, chat about what you’ve been dying to read, have a warm cup of coffee, and enjoy! ♥

Joyful Flashback

Posting at Hollow Tree today about a guilty pleasure I’ve had since the 5th grade. And before you make fun of me for having owned the crystal locket and the moon wand, know that it sparked my interest in many things fantasy and mythological, and for that I am grateful! ;)

Plus, Google Alerts has now informed me that my paperback has made it to ebay. Somehow, I find this to be a sign that I’m closer to ‘making it’. lol Pathetic.

BONUS: DHN Deleted Scene #1

For today’s scene from Dark Hollywood Nights, I present the original opener to the story. It was cut for several reasons – one being, pacing. It took far too long to get the action started and it told a lot more than necessary, bogging the reader down with back story. I love the current opening because it’s BAM, right in your face with the characters AND the conflict. But I do miss this scene because it has one of my favorite cameos of the book: Charles and Bridget.

They were still fresh in my mind from writing Cinematic Royalty, and they came off much stronger than my heroine, Lexi. That’s another reason we had to cut them. They were supporting characters now. I couldn’t let them outshine my star! ;) But it’s an amusing scene and I’m happy to share it with all of you.
